Application Fees Exemption of Examination Fee As per G.A. & P.G. Department Notification No.9897/Gen, dated 11.04.2022, the Examination Fee has been exempted for all categories of candidates. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following general criteria to be eligible for recruitment: a. Be a citizen of India. b. Have good moral character. c. Be of sound health and free from any organic defect or physical infirmity. d. Be able to speak, read, and write Odia. e. Have passed M.E. School or higher examinations with Odia as a subject, or equivalent. f. Not have more than one spouse living. g. Have no record of criminal convictions.
Age Criteria
The age requirements for candidates are as follows: Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 25 years (as of 01-01-2024) Relaxations: SC/ST/SEBC/Women Candidates: 5 years Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms. The date of birth recorded in the High School Certificate issued by recognized Boards/Councils will be accepted as proof.
Educational Qualifications
Educational Qualifications For Sub-Inspector, Assistant Jailor: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For Station Officer (Fire Service): Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
Documents Required
